For every friend you refer and who becomes an active trader you will receive 1 trade token. "Active traders" are those members that have completed their first trade successfully as sellers to the buyer's satisfaction with positive feedback. Your friend must complete their first positive trade as seller by December 31, 2009 in order to earn the bonus. After that date the bonus will be forfeited. Friends must be different physical persons than the referring users and live at different households. Referred users will not be counted as friends if they have the same address as the referring user, or if they have the same name but a different address. Existing users cannot be referred as friends. Trades completed with referred friends will not be counted towards the bonus and will forfeit any pending bonus. Goozex reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the terms of this promotion at any time.


The 2009 Refer a Friend Sweepstakes

All registered Goozex members that invite three or more "active traders" between August 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 are automatically entered into the 2009 Refer a Friend Sweepstakes. Each month, Goozex will randomly draw one lucky winner among all eligible participants. The monthly winner will win one copy of the "game of the month" or "movie of the month."

To be eligible for the contest you must:

a) Send three or more "refer a friend" invites to people you know;

b) The friends you invite must become "active traders" within the period stated above;

c) Only "refer a friend" invites sent using the online feature on Goozex.com and visitors from the "referral link" provided by Goozex.com, sent between the dates stated above, shall count for eligibility purposes into the contest;

d) Only invited friends that become "active traders" during the period stated above shall count for eligibility purposes into the contest.

e) For each monthly draw following the schedule indicated below, Goozex will consider eligible all members that have invited three or more "active traders" between August 1, 2009 and the end of the month considered for the monthly draw;

The monthly winners will be selected based on the following schedule:

• August 2009 winner: selected by September 10, 2009 among all eligible participants as of August 31, 2009
• September 2009 winner: selected by October 10, 2009 among all eligible participants as of September 30, 2009
• October 2009 winner: selected by November 10, 2009 among all eligible participants as of October 31, 2009
• November 2009 winner: selected by December 10, 2009 among all eligible participants as of November 30, 2009
• December 2009 winner: selected by January 10, 2010 among all eligible participants as of December 31, 2009

The "game of the month" or the "movie of the month" will be selected by Goozex and posted by the 10th day of each month in the forums in the "Official Contests" section.  The promotion ends December 31, 2009.

Multiple accounts, unconfirmed accounts, fake email addresses, or inaccurate home addresses will disqualify an entry into the sweepstakes.  The winner must have a valid United States, Canadian or Bermudian mailing address on file with Goozex at the time of the contest.  Any prize won by a minor will be awarded to his parent or legal guardian.  The winner may not redeem the prize for cash, Goozex points or trade credits.  The winner will be notified by email and has 96 hours to respond via email; failure to accept the prize within this timeframe may result in the selection of an alternate winner.  Goozex will mail the prize to the winner at the address provided upon registration.

If this contest can not be run as planned for any reason beyond Goozex's control, such as infection by computer virus, tampering, or technical failures, Goozex at its sole discretion reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify this contest without liability.  Goozex, Inc. is not responsible for any loss, injury, liability or damage of any kind resulting or arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or participation in the contest.  Any and all guarantees and warranties for the merchandise prize are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions and the winner agrees to look solely to the manufacturer for any such warranty or guarantee claim.

Participation to this contest implies full understanding and acceptance of the rules. Void where prohibited by law.
